In order to improve the Virtual Server service quality, starting with the 1st of September, 2008, ROMTELECOM performs the up-date of the currently used server so that the service provided to our customers will significantly improve and you will benefit of new versions of the features included in monthly fees.

During the migration process to the new server, we kindly request you, not to make any modifications in DNS since they would not be saved.

In case these modifications are absolutely necessary for you to make, please contact us using the following e-mail address: servicii.internet@romtelecom.ro.

Also, while the migration operations need to be performed in optimal conditions, except for our request not to make any modifications in DNS, ROMTELECOM submits to your attention the following issues as far as it concerns the migration:

1. Your reseller account is activated to maintenance status for approximate 15 minutes
2. The migration workings take place at night so that the activities you perform will be less affected
3. Romtelecom performs back-up and restore for the customer in order to be transferred under maximum security conditions on the new server
4. DNS modifications are make exclusively by Romtelecom without you being involved in this action
5. At the end of the migration process, your account is deactivated from the maintenance status meaning that you and your customers will be able to fulfil your activities under the best functioning conditions.
